India Vs Australia: Australia survives at the end of Day 4

The Aussies survived at the end of Day 4 of the third test match. Pat Cummins (61 not out) and Nathan Lyon (5 not out) are still at the crease. India had declared their second innings at 106/8 and had set a huge target of 399 runs for Australia. India started very well today and scored some quick runs. In reply Australia didn’t started well and lost some early wickets as the Indian bowlers were bowling beautifully at a flat pitch. Shami, Bumrah and Jadeja picked up wickets at regular intervals and they couldn’t build a big partnership which was required by Australia. Tim Paine and Pat Cummins had a fine partnership after which Paine nicked a delivery bowled by Jadeja and Pant took a great catch to dismiss the Australian captain. Cummins showed great patience at the crease and played magnificently today. India need just 2 wickets to win the match and take a 2-1 lead in the series.
